Here is an article from the Press Telegram that sheds light on the bits!
Hello Lakewood Village Neighbors!
The Lakewood Village Neighborhood Association has a new site! Our hope is to give more and more Village Residents access to information and communication with the board and keep everyone up-to-date on future events.
We have almost recovered most of our lost email database but are still short! If you received this email we are excited to re-connect with you! If you know someone who didn’t get this email, tell them to let us know — they can reach out to us below in the comments section: Facebook (facebook.com/LakewoodvillageLVNA) or email us at LVNAonline@gmail.com.
Many of you have expressed displeasure with the tree cutting on Norse Way… Don’t worry, the street and businesses are getting a makeover that will keep with the tradition of the Village, and YES there will be new trees! The Norse Way Business Association has a few construction phases to get through, which include the street being paved. The finished product will look amazing and street fairs will be back for all of us to enjoy and bringing more liveliness to the business corridor. As updates are available they will be posted on our site.
As a reminder if you have a small crime that happens to you or a neighbor please report it. If you don’t report the crime the Long Beach Police Department likely will not know it happened. The LBPD has an app that lets you file a police report online and it is very user friendly. You can download the Go Long Beach app here.
Next month the new Neighborhood Watch plan will be launched, and we are going to need all our great neighborly eyes out and ears peeled as we restart this program — thanks in advance for everyone’s support!
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and we’ll be in touch soon!
